Welcome to the Texas Trail Achievement Program (TTAP)

1. To enter the program you must be a current member of the Original Lone Star Gaited Pleasure Horse Association, Inc. and fill out the required information on the application form
2. There must be one form per horse filled out (i.e. one rider can sign up for as many horses as they wish to enter). The hours accumulated in this program stay with the horse that was entered on each application.
3. The horse entered in the TTAP does not have to be owned by the rider.
4. All hours logged in the TTAP must be actual riding hours less any breaks or lunch periods while on the trail.
5. You cannot accumulate time while at shows or play days.
6. All hours must be logged in the TTAP hour’s log, rounded off to the nearest hour.
7. A verification signature, date and location must also be recorded.
8. Upon competition of 50, 100, 200, 400, 800 hours, the rider needs to send in the TTAP hours log to the committee chairman in charge of the TTAP.
9. Accomplishments will be announced in the clubs newsletter as received, presentation of the awards will be done at the Annual Banquet. If the rider cannot be present at the Achievement Ceremony, the award will be mailed to the recipient after the ceremony.
10. Awards are as follows:
1. 50 Hours          Certificate
2. 100 Hours        Plaque
3. 200 Hours        Trophy
4. 400 Hours        TTAP club Jacket
5. 800 Hours        Champion Bridle and Breast strap
11. Fee for joining the program is $5.00 per year per horse. This will cover administrative cost.
